Discover the interesting lives and habits of one of our native bird species at our House Wren Box Workshop at the Elkhart Environmental Center on Friday, March 22nd! Learn about some of the fascinating nesting habits of this tiny but mighty bird, find out what you can do in your own backyard to help support the species (and the local ecosystem in general), and build your own house wren nesting box to install at home. All building materials will be provided – just bring yourself!
Nest box kits are $5 each and limited to one per family/group. When registering, please indicate the number of people in your group by reserving a spot for each.
Pre-registration is limited and required by Tuesday, March 19th.
