Looking to make your yard more than just a yard? Join the Indiana Wildlife Federation at the Elkhart Environmental Center on Saturday, May 11th, to learn how to transform your space into a wildlife-friendly area to help support the local ecosystem! Attendees will learn about native plants and animals and how they fit into the larger ecological framework during an educational presentation, then get hands-on experience by helping us plant some natives on site to support the wildlife that calls the EEC home! Participants will also take home a native plug for their own backyard habitat.
Registration for this workshop is $5 per person. Advance registration is limited and required by Monday, May 6th.
