Learn about the life and habits of one of our most eye-catching bird species, the Eastern Bluebird, at our Bluebird Box Workshops this winter! To accommodate more bird lovers, we will be hosting the workshop on TWO nights: Thursday, February 22nd and Friday, February 23rd; both sessions will be held from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM inside our Visitor’s Cabin.
Participants at both sessions will learn about the history and habits of these birds, as well as get tips on how to best support this species in their own backyards. Attendees will also build their own bluebird nesting box to install at home and learn best practices for maintaining it throughout the year.
Nest box kits are $5 each and limited to one per family/group. When registering, please indicate the number of people in your group by reserving a spot for each. Pre-registration is limited and required by Sunday, February 18th.
Due to the use of power tools, this program is recommended for ages 12 & older.
